As the old saying goes, ‘We Are What We Eat’. It’s a scientifically proven fact that our food choices affect our health. Every cell in our body was created from the food we eat, the water we drink and the air we breathe. In addition to nourishing our bodies, food also affects the quality of our lives, our appearance, weight, moods, energy, the ageing process and our overall health and well being.

MySchool believes that the best way to stay healthy is by offering our students a balanced menu composed mainly of wholesome organic products. In order to provide our children with all the nutrients to meet their physical and mental needs, our menu will be monitored by a qualified nutritional specialist.

MyFood will be adequately adapted to the needs and requirements of every child. Special menus will be designed for celiacs, vegetarians and those who are lactose intolerant. We will adapt to every child making sure we cover all essential nutritional needs.

MyFood menus will be home-cooked at MySchool premises by our own cook using only fresh local products mainly from our own organic vegetable garden grown by MySchool students. This will also provide the children the enriching experience of planting and growing their own vegetables while enabling them to learn about seasonal products, insects, natural symbiotic processes, and the importance of caring for the most essential things in live.

Once a week we will cook dishes from a particular country or nation, thus learning to appreciate different flavours and tastes and understanding the diversity of cultures that inhabit the planet.
